Leaks + equipment
Pool Repair, Leak Detection and Tile Replacement
Leak detection with pinpoint accuracy, tile replacement and pump and filter diagnosis, with transparent pricing and no hidden fees.
Chapter 01
The four faults that bring owners to the phone
Most repair calls start with one of four things. The water level keeps dropping and the top-ups are getting more frequent. A pump hums but will not prime, or it is running louder than it used to. The water has gone cloudy even though the chemistry looks right, which usually points at the filter. Or a tile has popped off or cracked along the waterline.
Each one looks small and none of them stays small. A leak wastes water and lifts your bill, and it can undermine the concrete and plumbing around the shell. A failing pump leaves circulation poor and algae with room to grow. Broken tile is a cut waiting for a bare foot as much as an eyesore.
The cost of waiting is real, and it grows. Early detection by a skilled contractor is usually the cheapest repair you will ever make on a pool.

Finding the fault before opening anything up
Guessing at a leak means cutting plaster in the wrong place. We locate leaks with pinpoint accuracy using advanced equipment, so the repair opens up the one spot that needs it, whether the loss is under the plaster, behind tile or in the plumbing runs.
Pumps and filtration get the same treatment: diagnosis first. A pump that will not prime may have an air leak on the suction side, a worn seal or a blocked basket line, and a cloudy pool may have a tired filter medium or a bypass. We find which, then fix that, rather than swapping parts until the noise stops.
Tile replacement is the visible end of the work. We replace tile in mosaic or large format and match it back into the waterline course so the repair does not read as a repair.
Chapter 03
How the job is run
It starts with a call to (808) 682-1020 and a free on-site inspection. We assess the pool with precision tools, then give you a no-obligation repair estimate tailored to what we found. You approve the plan, we schedule the work at a time that suits you, and we do it with durable materials and sound trade practice.
Pricing is transparent, with no hidden fees, and we keep to the schedule we give you. Minor leaks are often fixed within a few days; plumbing or structural leaks take longer, and the detection tells us how long before we start.
Pacific AquaScapes has worked on Hawaii pools since 1980 and holds Specialty Contractor license CT-10771, fully licensed and insured. When the repair is finished you get follow-up advice on keeping the pool healthy.

Repair now, or renovate the whole pool?
If the plaster, tile, plumbing and equipment are all worn at once, a string of repairs can cost more than a proper pool renovation, and the inspection will tell you which side of that line your pool sits on. For pools that are sound, the best repair is the one you never need, which is what our weekly maintenance visits are for. Hotels and resorts can read about commercial pool service, and anyone with a question first can reach the Kapolei office.
