Project gallery, Oahu and Maui

A walk along the edge.

Every frame here is a pool, lagoon or waterfall that Pacific AquaScapes built or renewed, from a Honolulu rooftop to the Kapalua coast. Start at the vanishing edge, follow the rock down into the lagoons, and finish on the resort decks. Hotel and resort names are the ones the projects are known by.

Stop 01

Vanishing edges

The water runs level to the lip and stops, and the eye carries on to the ocean, the marina or the city. Dead-level coping is the whole of the trick, whether the edge is dark tile, mosaic or lava rock.

Lagoons, rock and falls

Naturalistic rock built so the water reads like it came with the island: islands in the lagoon, streams under footbridges, falls stepping down through the palms.

Rock, close in

Where the falls meet the water.

Lagoons, streams, koi ponds and waterfalls are built in lava rock and in coral, limestone and fossilstone, so the rock reads like the island it sits on.
